Our Preschool Curriculum
Learning takes place at the intersection of inquiry and play; at Little Kids Planet, our curriculum is designed to meet children at that intersection. That is why we have chosen The Creative Curriculum®, as the foundation for our learning. It gives our staff the flexibility and tools to empower the next generation of learners to be collaborators, innovators, critical thinkers and good citizens.
This study based approach to learning provides hands-on, in-depth investigations of meaningful topics that are relevant to children’s everyday experiences. Students will learn to apply their critical thinking skills in meaningful ways and through real-life context. Each investigation will encourage higher-level thinking, help develop intellectual interests, and allow students to flex their creative and problem-solving muscles.
Lessons are adapted to the interest and ability of the learner, support the development of social-emotional skills and encourage family and community involvement.
